Job Description

  • Provide a high standard of customer service while delivering fresh food products of various sizes and packages to customers, this includes unloading and movement to customer use point
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain shipping logs. Ensure that delivery paperwork is completed, and returns are processed
  • Lift and carry up to 25 kg
  • The ability to lift heavy grocery product by hand for an extended period of time
  • Operate electric and manual pallet jacks to move large pallets of grocery product
  • Maintain a clean drivers abstract
  • Positive attitude
  • Reliable: attendance and punctuality is key
Required Skills and Experience
  • Class 1 or 3
  • Air Brake Endorsement (Q)
  • Must provide clean Driver’s Abstract
  • Delivery driving experience
  • Experience with reefer units preferred
  • Ability to be coached and open to continuous improvement
  • Drug screening will be required if selected
Job Type: Part-timeSalary: $24.00-$26.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 12 hour shift
Experience:
  • Commercial driving: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Class 3 or 1 License (preferred)
