Grounded by our sense of purpose, we offer a meaningful, friendly and dynamic work environment.As a member of the Bookstore and Print Services team, you will be instrumental in helping provide operational support to the Bookstore and Print Services to enhance the overall service and contribute to the success of the tea, through excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff and the community.Primary responsibilities include processing textbook orders and maintaining the Bookstore database, completing print job requests within best practices and arranging for the shipping and receiving of merchandise. We are looking for someone to help us continue to enhance the overall service and contribute to the success of the team and exceptional experiences for our employee and student community.   • Provides comprehensive customer service to internal and external customers by greeting customers upon entry, listening, and questioning to ascertain needs, and showing, explaining and informing of product details or expected timelines to create sales and enhance the overall service image of the Bookstore and Print Services.
  • Processes print jobs according to established procedures (First In, First Out), operating Xerox photocopiers, performs finishing work and contacts customers about the status of print jobs. Completes quality control checks for print jobs and ensures final costs are calculated accurately.
  • Verifies the accuracy of information on textbook adoptions and researches missing information by looking up item records, contacting publishers to verify availability and current pricing, and reports any issues to the manager that may impact meeting established deadlines.
  • Maintains all areas of the Bookstore by stocking shelves, tidying, merchandising and organizing products to facilitate customer access, stimulate sales and enhance the overall image of the store. Maintains inventory levels of supplies needed by the Bookstore and Print Services, such as paper, boxes and shipping materials.

  • Completion of Grade 12.
  • Two years of directly related administrative support or retail experience, including experience in an educational setting with significant student contact.
