Grounded by our sense of purpose, we offer a meaningful, friendly and dynamic work environment.As a member of the University Events team, you will be instrumental in helping create a unique and distinct experience for our graduates by creating memorable convocation ceremonies as well as working on creating inspiring events for the President’s Office. This will be accomplished by working closely with the Manager, University Events and participating in the North American Association for Commencement Officers events and webinars to gain insight to help create dynamic visions and gain the knowledge and support needed to carry out the events. You will be leading areas of convocation, Presidents office events such as President’s perspective and new employee breakfasts, working with the Indigenous Student Services on their larger ceremonies and events. This role will also work alongside the rest of the University Events team on other university events, specifically supporting DAR and Human Resources. We are looking for someone to help us continue to create unique and memorable convocation ceremonies and inspiring events for the President’s Office to provide exceptional experiences for our employee and student community.
