Apply today to join our team!As a Clinic Support Clerk you will act as the receptionist for Youth and Immunization clinics and provide a variety of administrative and communication support by performing duties such as ordering clinic supplies, data entry, filing and managing test results.QUALIFICATIONS:Education & ExperienceGrade 12.Two (2) Years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Valid BC Drivers license. Local area travel requires the use of a personal vehicle for which mileage will be reimbursed.Knowledge & AbilitiesAbility to keyboard 5,000 keystrokes per hour.Knowledge of Medical Terminology.Demonstrated proficiency in the application of word processing software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).Ability to effectively use a computerized client care information system.(PARIS)Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients.Ability to organize workload and prioritize.Ability to problem-solve and take initiative.Ability to work under pressure with interruptions and adapt to changes.Ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.Ability to operate related equipment.The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.
