This position is the public’s primary point of contact providing customer service at the front desk, on the phone, and via email, regarding all of the District’s operations, services, programs, events, bylaws and regulations.You will be responsible for providing customer service in a professional and courteous manner, and will simultaneously use telephone and computer systems to handle inquiries, research answers, enter requests for service, comments or complaints for investigation and for other purposes. In working as part of a team, your ability to deal effectively and courteously with internal and external contacts is paramount, as well as your ability to handle enquiries, complaints and service requests with promptness, tact, diplomacy and accuracy.The ideal candidate will have experience: working in a call centre or multi-line reception environment, using a variety of computer applications, and an e-mail management system.If you have what we’re looking for and enjoy working in a fast paced environment with a group of enthusiastic and dedicated people, we would like to hear from you.
