Job Description

Pacific Honda has a great entry level position to join our Parts Department TeamIf you are someone looking for secure, meaningful and long-term employment with room for growth, there’s a place for you here at Pacific Honda. We are currently looking for a Driver/Shipper to join our team of dedicated individuals.As Driver/Shipper, you will support the Parts & Service Departments with duties that include pick-up and delivery of items to clients, stocking and picking shelf items, assisting with lot attendant responsibilities and various other duties. Candidates require a strong work ethic and must be motivated to perform well in a fast-paced environment.Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver and/or pick up various goods to customers and vendors in a timely manner
  • Maintaining good working relationships with clients
  • Preparing and organizing parts for delivery
  • Maintaining and organize inventory items and displays
  • Basic upkeep of delivery vehicles and ensuring they are presentable to clients
  • Carrying out lot maintenance and attendant duties
  • Following all Company and Manufacturer policies, along with local, provincial, and federal laws (including those governing the rules of the road and health and safety)
  • Lifting heavy parts or cartons and items weighing upwards of 25kgs, on a regular basis
  • Other duties as assigned
Applicants should possess:
  • Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work effectively and efficiently on their own
  • Able to lift items weighing upwards of 25kgs, on a regular basis
  • Geographical knowledge of the lower mainland is an asset
