You will be a strong resource and support in delivering projects consistently, efficiently, and in a streamlined manner. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle from initiation to close out, and effective communication will be key to bring a positive impact to the campus university. We are looking for someone to help us continue to build our institution’s Envisioning 2030 plan and support exceptional experiences for our employee and student community. You will work with a team of talented and professional colleagues, an engaged community and an impactful executive team. You will be part of the team responsible for the Facilities Planning and Projects group for all of the above.Do you share our purpose and passionWhat you’ll do

  • Organizes, coordinates, and supports the day-to-day activities of the Project Management Office within Facilities Services.
  • Provides logistical support to the Facilities project team
  • Monitors Facilities project progress and liaises with project stakeholders to report on progress.
  • Undertakes various research and sourcing assignments related to the project, creates reports and presents material and data as required. Processes and tracks financial documents related to the Facilities project and planning activities.
  • Assists in the creation, documentation, and execution of Facilities project work plans and revises in accordance with approved changes.
What you’ll bring
  • Completion of two years (approximately 60 credits) of post-secondary education in applied business technology or business education or Engineering related education such as Building Engineering Technology, Civil Technology, Construction Management or equivalent.
  • Five years of work experience in a planning or coordination role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Business analysis experience is considered an asset.
  • PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification or equivalent is considered an asset.
