  • Master’s degree in Communications, English or a related field; PhD. in Communications or related subject preferred;
  • Evidence of scholarship and ability to teach critical studies in communication, media and literacy an asset;
  • Minimum of 2 years post-secondary teaching courses dealing with business communication and composing documents and presentations for a professional workplace;
  • Demonstrated competence in business writing for the Canadian market;
  • Evidence of scholarship and ability to teach critical studies in communication, media and literacy will be considered an asset.
  • Successful post‐secondary teaching experience with ESL and/or International students;
  • Ability to foster a classroom environment that provides a supportive learning setting for students from diverse populations and circumstances;
  • Knowledge of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion principles in an educational environment.
