This position will be key in in supporting the Teaching and Learning functions of the library and will act as the evening point person for the Library. We are looking for someone to help us continue to build our essential library supports and services while providing exceptional experiences for our employee and student community.   • Use the integrated library system to perform a wide variety of functions, including check-out and check-in of items; verifying and editing patron records, creating or modifying brief bibliographic or item records.
  • Acts as evening and closing shift point person for the Library
  • Assists Teaching & Learning Librarian and other librarians to support Library teaching.
  • Participates in social media activities
  • Participate in the revision, development, documentation and implementation of Library policies and procedures.
  • Maintenance of Library collection.
  • Supports other Library functions and services.
What you’ll bring
  • Completion of a two-year Library Technology diploma comparable to the programs offered at Langara College and the University of the Fraser Valley.
  • One year of relevant library experience.
