Their primary task is to help manage guest traffic and ensure safety on all attractions. You are expected to engage with our guests in pleasant and professional conversation. You will also be using public speaking skills in stations that deliver programmed content about various aspects of our park. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who enjoys interacting with the public and working in nature.What you’ll do:Engage with guests as they access our attractions, provide relevant facts and informationRun our attraction safety positions as trainedTo deliver programmed content in each station in an engaging manner and as trained (includes Safety Talks)Ensure line-ups are moving in an orderly fashion as trainedEncourage Guests to partake in our park offerings such as Tours, Rainforest Explorer Program, and other seasonal activitieQualificationsWho you are:Minimum 1 year of Guest Services experiencePositive, friendly, outgoing, and energetic personalityExcellent interpersonal skillsLevel 1 or 2 occupational first aid is an assetConsiderations:Must be able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidaysTeam Members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of timeTeam Members are expected to deliver the position as described under various weather conditions including but not limited to sun, rain, snow, sleetTeam Members must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions in the darkTeam Members are occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20lbs, climb a step ladder or step stoolThe Capilano Group comprises retail, hospitality and tourism-based businesses anchored by Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in North Vancouver.
