Grounded by our sense of purpose, we offer a meaningful, friendly and dynamic work environment.Do you share our purpose and passionWhat you’ll doThis term position will be a key contributor to reviewing, drafting and revising a range of academic policies in support of the university purpose statement and future directions. In particular, there are a set of new policies to develop, and policy that will be updated related to future graduate studies programs. The role can be up to 100% remote (living in BC and eligible to work in Canada) aligned with the university’s Home Office Program (HOP).The incumbent will be providing specialized assistance with academic policy and procedures including drafting, revising, researching and related correspondence related to policy approval steps. Working under the Office of the Vice President Academic and Provost, this position will provide support senior academic leaders by researching, analyzing, and drafting policy statements and procedures. This position will track all policies and procedures and monitor the update and revision schedules. Excellent writing and communication, research, and analytical skills are particularly important in this position.What you’ll bring

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Public Administration or related subject with courses in policy analysis and governance.
  • Two (2) years of directly related experience, including researching policy and governance issues, conducting policy analysis, and preparing written policy materials; experience must include working and communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Or an equivalent combination of skills and experience.
