You will do this by fostering a working environment that is open, collaborative and student-centered in its approach to customer service. You will responsible for providing front line services to students and the general public on a wide range of topics pertaining to university policies, programs and services. We are looking for someone to help us build on our commitment to student success while also seeking out new opportunities for collaboration with our campus partners as they will provide input and recommendations on how to streamline and improve existing processes within the Registrar’s Office. You will work with a dynamic team of talented colleagues, an engaged community and an impactful executive team.Do you share our purpose and passionWhat you’ll do

  • Processes, updates and maintains permanent student records and files.
  • Maintains student records by processing application, registration, grade, graduation, and records related forms and materials. Checks that the information and forms submitted are complete and conform to student record requirements. Processes standard and non-standard forms, as required.
  • Leads the time ticketing, beginning of term, and end of term processes. Troubleshoots and resolves any issues.
  • Liaises with University departments for time ticketing and grading inquiries, registration override requests, and the processing of non-standard applications, registrations, and records changes.
  • Researches, analyses, and corrects errors in student records to meet data standards and ensure data integrity (e.g. duplicate IDs, missing/outstanding grades, missing/non-validated PENs)
  • Organizes end of term processing. Reviews output and assesses and troubleshoots issues to find root causes and resolves any issues.
  • Processes, for approval of the Registrar or designate, all requests for late drops and withdrawals, and course withdrawals due to extenuating circumstances.
  • Verifies, prepares and releases appropriate student record information for third party requests (e.g. education verifications, lawyers requests)
  • Assists with the development and testing of student record related system improvements and implementations. Documents new or updated processes and procedures.
What you’ll bring
  • Completion of a two-year Diploma or Associate Degree (minimum 60 credits).
  • Two years of directly related work experience in an administrative and customer service role, including work experience in an educational setting with significant contact with students, faculty, and the public.
