About Pinnacle HotelsPinnacle Hotel at the Pier located at the waterfront of NorthVancouver is a 106-room boutique hotel featuring 8,000 square feet of meetingand event space.Pinnacle Hotel Whistler Village is an 84-room hotel withrustic West Coast charm, centrally located in the heart of Whistler’s VillageNorth, within walking distance to most local attractions.RoleVancouver based Sales Manager responsible for soliciting andsecuring accounts that yield maximum revenues and profits for two Pinnacle Hotelsin North Vancouver and Whistler.Key ResponsibilitiesAggressivelysolicit, qualify, and manage sales accounts in assigned territoryrepresenting Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier and Pinnacle Hotel WhistlerVillage.Proactivelyconduct outside sales calls, solicitation calls and network with key andprospecting accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals.Ensureeffective prospecting of the hotel’s key market segments including group,transient, wholesale and corporate marketing for the attainment of roomrevenue budget.Prospectand follow-up on all sales leads and promptly execute correspondence toclients in an effective and efficient manner.Maintainand further develop sales accounts. Prioritize accounts while identifyingcore accounts and those contributing to need periods.Ensurecurrent and prospective client databases are maintained, that files arekept current and accessible.Ensureefficient execution of group reservations, programs and functions.Workcooperatively and collaboratively with the hotel teams to achieve revenuetargets.Customerservice focused and continually striving to exceed guest expectations.Conductshotel site tours and entertains qualified potential clients in accordancewith the company and property policies.Solicit,organize and participate in familiarization trips from key clients.Representproperty at appropriate travel industry trade shows and conferences whileadhering to the guidelines of the marketing plan and budget.Participatesin industry organizations and all local community functions representingsales opportunities for the hotel.Assiststhe Director of Sales in the preparation of sales objectives andstrategies of the hotel.Maintainall contact, account, activities and booking information in Maestro andOpera as per the Hotel’s standards.Prepareand submit timely monthly reports to Director of Sales.Providefeedback and market information to Director of Sales on changing marketconditions, including trends on the competition.Maintaina respectful working relationship with hotel team members.Operatein a manner of teamwork with the corporate office and sister hotels.Maintaincomplete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, serviceprocedures and standards.Otherduties as required.Job Requirements/Qualifications:Job RequirementsMinimum two to three years of management experience inthe hospitality industry.Minimum two years' experience as a Sales Manager in full-servicehotel property preferred.Experienced and knowledgeable of handling corporate,wholesale, leisure and groups.Proven track record as a successful sales professional.Demonstrated knowledge of key stakeholders in themarketplace and its related hospitality industry trends.Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business, Sales,Marketing or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination ofeducation and work-related experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills for thepurpose of presenting and discussing technical information to establishrapport and/or influence and gain understanding of others.·Self-motivatedindividual who is organized and able to set and achieve goals for themselves inalignment with the department and hotel’s overall revenue goals.Display strong initiative and ability to make sounddecisions independently, ability to prioritize, organize and follow-up.Must be able to perform job functions with attention todetail, efficiency and accuracy.Must be able to resolve problems using good judgment;follow directions thoroughly.Must be able to work cohesively with co-workers as partof a team.Demonstrated knowledge of hospitality systems andsoftware such as Maestro and Opera.Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.Knowledge of and experience with full-service hotelrequired.Job Application Process:If you are interested, please send your current work resume & cover letter to pinnaclepier@gmail.comWe value your interest.However, only those applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.Thank you.
