You will engage and lead the recruitment of students to Cap U by representing our university at education and career fairs while developing and maintaining our working relationships with high school counsellors and other community groups. We are looking for someone to help us continue to build our student recruitment services and support while providing exceptional experiences for our employee and student community. You will work with a team of talented colleagues, an engaged community, and an impactful executive team.Do you share our purpose and passionWhat you’ll do

  • Represents the University at education and career fairs including designing and assembling the displays; creating and organizing promotional materials; and attending the fair to respond to enquiries, make presentations, provide first-level, information about university programs, services, and forward leads to programs and departments, as appropriate.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with high school counsellors and other community groups.
  • Coordinates, oversees, and arranges activities including but not limited to Explore Capilano and the High School Counselor Conference. This includes developing themes, time lines and schedules; coordinating involvement of faculty and staff from across the campus; booking rooms; arranging catering; and making presentations.
What you’ll bring
  • Completion of a two-year post-secondary credential.
  • Two years of student recruitment experience and working with a Customer Relationship Management system
