We are currently lookingto hire a Talent Attraction and Sourcing Specialist to join our team.Reporting to the Manager Talent Acquisition, the Talent Attraction and Sourcing Specialist will strengthen and/or develop keyattraction programs to enhance ICBC’s employment brand and talent pipeline. These programs will include leading:

  • Corporate wide co-op programs and campus recruitment strategies
  • Diversity, equity and inclusion practices and community partner relations
  • Talent pipelining strategies and headhunting
  • Career site branding and modernization
  • Vendor management and procurement
The Talent Attraction and Sourcing Specialist will also be required to build collaborative relationships with senior leaders acrossthe business and within HR to understand workforce and succession planning needs in order to support a proactive recruitmentapproach.Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the design, implementation and evolution of the talent attraction and sourcing approach for ICBC
  • Identifies, develops and maintains critical strategic external partnerships to support the talent sourcing approach (e.g. with
universities, professional associations, diversity and inclusion groups, etc.)
  • Reviews workforce planning and succession planning initiatives in consultation with HR Business Partners and the business to
assist with forecasting needs and building talent pools for future vacancies in critical roles
  • Defines key future sourcing initiatives and plans and drives implementation
  • Selects and manages vendors for talent sourcing with input on delivery of services from the Recruitment Services team
  • Leads the end to end campus candidate sourcing activities such as strategic planning, university partnerships and sourcing
events with a strong emphasis on new grad / co-op hiring and deployment programs
  • Develops and oversees an approach for ICBC’s employer branding (e.g. social media strategy for sourcing campaigns) and
partners with corporate communications and marketing to execute the strategy
  • Develops an appropriate feedback loop and measurement of the talent sourcing strategy including the development and
management of specific metrics and dashboards
  • Supports ICBC’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Charter through Community Partnerships and our commitment to being an
inclusive and accessible employerPosition RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:
  • Prior attraction or sourcing experience to one or more of the following focus areas: DEI hiring practices, campus recruitment,
co-op program management and/or employer branding
  • Proven program development experience involving multiple stakeholders
  • Strong headhunting experience and proven ability to build talent pipelines
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline (i.e. Human Resources, Business Administration, etc.)
  • Recruitment experience within a recruitment agency or large complex environment with involvement in developing attraction
strategies is an asset
  • Completion of courses or learnings related to inclusive hiring practices would be a strong asset
