We are looking for someone to help us continue to build our reputation and exceptional experiences for our employee and student community. You will work with a team of talented analysts, an engaged community and a driven executive team. You will be part of the team responsible for the front facing IT customer service, IT end user devices and AV equipment for the classrooms and meeting rooms.Do you share our purpose and passionWhat you’ll do

  • Various project work such as assisting the supervisor with project planning and implementation pertaining to student, faculty and staff environment. Recommending enhancements and improvements for diagnosis and troubleshooting.
  • Addressing more complicated requests relating to services and systems and providing guidance to other teams on resolving incidents/issues across the university.
  • Providing level two support by training new and existing staff on operation processes and procedures and providing guidance and coordination of best practices within IT services to junior staff.
  • Technical work on computer hardware/software, networking systems, communications wiring and associated peripheral equipment. Great technical resource on Windows 10 or Mac OS X.
  • Providing excellent customer service on all service interactions.
What you’ll bring
  • Completion of a two-year post-secondary diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
  • Three years of directly related work experience.
  • Foundations certificate in ITIL V3 (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
  • For Windows Environment
  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent
  • Completion of at least one additional relevant industry certification (eg, MTA, CCNA )
  • For MAC Environment
