We are transforming our services to Infrastructure andPlatform as a Service (IaaS), and building a Software Defined Network.We are looking for an individual who is up to the challenge of taking on the role of Network Technical Specialist to provide expertsupport for the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of ICBC’s corporate network infrastructure.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking responsibility for technical solutions and operational support
  • Working with project and operational teams on the ongoing enhancement and development of new network infrastructure
systems and workflow automation
  • Strong focus on being a leader in security best practices
  • Developing and writing business justifications for medium to large scale network projects
Position RequirementsTo make an immediate contribution, you will bring:
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in designing, installing, and troubleshooting complex network solutions using Cisco,
Palo Alto and F5 appliances
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and extensive experience providing Tier 3 technical support to resolve complex network
issues
  • Adaptability, creativity, with strong, proven technical and design skills in the following areas:
  • Cisco Switching and routing
  • Cisco Wireless infrastructure
  • F5 Big IP
  • Palo Alto Next generation firewalls
  • DNS, Active Directory, and LDAP
  • Cloud Services such as Iaas & PaaS
  • Formal technical certifications including Cisco Associate and Professional designations, although not required, is
preferred
  • Experience with Citrix, Unix/Linux, Storage technologies will be considered an asset
  • Experience with Cisco DNA center and Cisco ACI technologies will be considered an asset
  • Exposure and or certification to methodologies and best practices such as ITIL, incident, problem and change
