Job Description

  • Raglan Mine, North-of-Quebec, Quebec, Canada
  • Rotation schedule of 50/50: equivalent to 3 consecutive weeks of work followed by 2 weeks of leave; and 2 consecutive weeks of work followed by 3 weeks of leave.
PLUMBER (1 PERMANENT POSITION – UNIONIZED)Service: Surface Services and MaintenanceLocation: Raglan Mine SiteReference number: REQ21-213Reporting to the Utilities Supervisors, you will you will evolve in an environment in which you will be called to perform plumbing and heating tasks. You will install, modify, adjust and maintain a wide range of piping and plumbing, as well as heating and potable and waste water treatment equipment. You will apply best practices for equipment maintenance.You hold a Vocational Studies Diploma (DEP) in plumbing and heating and an Emploi-Québec qualification certificate in plumbing. You have minimally five (5) years of experience in an industrial environment, more specifically in the maintenance of oil heating-combustion systems. You have excellent analytical capability, in addition to being a team worker and focused on continuous improvement. You must have a valid driver’s license.Work conditions:
  • Work shifts of 11 hours per day.
  • Rotation schedule of 50/50: equivalent to 3 consecutive weeks of work followed by 2 weeks of leave; and 2 consecutive weeks of work followed by 3 weeks of leave.
  • Private air transport is provided from Montreal, Quebec, Rouyn-Noranda, Mont-Joli or Inuit communities (depending on place of residence) to the mine site and return.
