Part-time/ContractOakbank, MBSunrise Performing Arts Centre of Excellence (the SPACE) Inc.Deadline: Open until filledJob Title: Multiple Instructors for Guitar, Violin, Piano, Acting and/or Improv Coach, Pottery or daytime dance instructorDescriptionUnder the umbrella of the SPACE Inc., Springfield Arts Council has some amazing teaching opportunities for guitar, violin, piano, acting, improv and pottery!We are looking for passionate and talented individuals who work great with all ages, with our main age group being children and youth.Offering lessons in dance, theatre, paint, voice and more! We are continuing to look for additional instructors and offer a variety of all arts disciplines.Qualifications· Previous teaching experience preferred

  • Access to a reliable vehicle to get to and from lessons
  • Reliable, patient, open-minded and enjoy working with children
  • Able to work independently with limited to no supervision
  • Able to teach technique and repertoire in a fun, engaging manner
Responsibilities:
  • Encourage the joy of making music, arts and passion behind craft
  • Help students develop the discipline and commitment required for success
  • Make learning just as fun as making music and arts itself
  • Building a strong relationship with the students to better help them succeed
  • Able to give brief feedback to students and parents as required
Schedule· Flexible· Daytimes or Evenings· 1-8 hour shifts dependant on programSalary· Hourly Rate· To be discussed and based off experienceJob Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 1-10 per weekSalary: $13.50-$25.00 per hourBenefits:
