Job Description

We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our Operations Department as a Transportation/Brokerage Coordinator (Hybrid) in a fulltime capacity. Currently we are working in a temporary hybrid model from home/work schedule. The position is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to ensuring proper driver/fleet/equipment utilization, communicating with drivers/customers, and monitoring inbound/outbound freight needs. As well as coordinating/planning/quoting on the brokerage side of the business.* Create and load plan multiple individual trips for drivers daily* Communicate individual trip instructions/requirements to drivers within the fleet* Provide guidance, support, and direction to drivers when required.* Verify accuracy of trip information submitted daily.* Daily communications with customers involving customer care relations.* Daily data entry* Assist team in resolving urgent and non-urgent issues and prioritize accordingly.* Communicate equipment maintenance issues to Operations.* Communicate individual trip instructions/requirements to drivers within the fleet* Provide guidance, support, and direction to drivers when required and verify accuracy of trip information submitted daily* Track and trace shipments and report findings to customers as required.* Prior experience in a trucking operations environment an asset.* Excellent planning and organizing, problem assessment and problem solving skills* Customer Care experience required* Data entry experience required* Load Brokerage experience* Load Board usage experience* Knowledge of Canadian geography. Especially City of Winnipeg and Manitoba* Ability to work with limited supervision, work independently and at times off site were required* Work collaboratively in a team environment* Attention to detail and accuracy required* Experience with MS Office specifically in Excel and Outlook* Excellent multi-tasking & time-management skills* Positive attitude* Excellent verbal & written communication skills* Knowledge of TMW would be considered an asset* ELD Knowledge would be considered an asset.We offer a competitive salary.
