Job Description

Position Overview:Seeking a highly motivated and skilled Corporate Accountant to join a public accounting firm in Oakville, ON on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial records and accounts of corporate clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for corporate clients, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements- Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement- Prepare and file tax returns, including corporate income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax- Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning- Provide guidance and support to clients on financial matters, including tax strategies and compliance- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and standards- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of client projects- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and changes in accounting practices and regulationsQualifications:- Bachelor #39;s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, preferably with corporate clients- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial analysis- Proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Caseware, TaxPrep etc- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines- Strong organizational and time-management skills- Experience with Caseware and Taxprep software is an asset
