Ref ID: 05070-0012365527Classification: Full Charge BookkeeperCompensation: $65000.00 to $75000.00 yearlyOur client is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team. Reporting to the Controller, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will process payroll for the team, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, and full cycle A/P. If you #39;re looking for a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision, you might be interested in this Bookkeeper role. We are looking for accounting professionals who are accomplished and organized. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Oakville, Ontario area.Major responsibilities- Mark budget transfers- Accounts Payable- Produce monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents- Credit Card management and reconciliation- Make all cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.- Business license and gross receipts summarizing- Accounts Receivable- Operate monthly accounting close- Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments- Produce cash flow projections, as needed- Arrange subcontractor 1099 #39;s, and any other IRS year-end requirement- Other special projects as requestedJob Requirements:- Adeptness in ordering office supplies and equipment- Government Remittances experience highly desired- Strong familiarity with account analysis- Month end closings experience preferred- Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience required- Demonstrated knowledge of Full Cycle Payroll- Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement- Previous accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred- Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment- Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred- Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines- 3+ years of related experience- Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilitiesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
