Job Description

Withcustomer service and safety as our focus, we are looking for an energetic anddriven employee to support our growing company and play a crucial role in wastediversion.As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role inensuring the uninterrupted movement of recycled materials (commodities) fromour material recovery facilities to various end markets. You will be a keydriver in facilitating the circular economy by ensuring that these materialsare turned into new inputs for the production of innovative and sustainableproducts.Responsibilities:- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop andexecute shipment forecasting and planning activities on a monthly basis.- Coordinate transportation logistics, including preparingdocumentation, arranging shipments, coordinating with carriers, and monitoringdelivery schedules to meet customer requirements.- Negotiate freight rates with freight companies and freightforwarders. - Communicate with material recovery facilities, endmarkets, and carriers to ensure the smooth flow of recycled materialsthroughout the supply chain.- Track and maintain accurate records of shipments,including documentation, invoices, and transportation contracts, ensure sales prices and freightcosts, and other costs are set up properly.- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internalteams to ensure an optimal balance between supply and demand.- Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities tooptimize logistics operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.- Prepare reports and provide regular updates to managementregarding shipment status, performance metrics, and any issues or delaysencountered.Qualifications:- College or Bachelor #39;s degree in Logistics, Supply ChainManagement, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Experience in logistics coordination.- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with theability to effectively interact with internal teams, external partners, andcustomers.- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsto manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.- Ability to work independently, take initiative, andproblem-solve in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Reasonsto Apply, Stay and Grow with Emterra Group·Opportunity to be part of one ofCanada’s Greenest Employers!·Competitive wages and annual wage increases!·Comprehensive health benefits (drug, dental,vision, LTD, life insurance)!·Employee Assistance Program, paid for by theCompany!·Tuition reimbursement program andprofessional development support!·Employee discount programs!·Be part of an organization that want to learnand grow!·Ability to have impact and make change!Are you ready to jumpstart your careerby joining one of Canada’s Greenest Employers and become part of theenvironmental solution If so, apply now!We appreciate all applicants who apply however only those who arequalified, will be contacted.Emterra Group is committed tomaintaining an equitable, fair, and diverse environment.
