Job Description

Position: Production Supervisor - WeldingLocation: Oakville, ONSalary: $70,000 - $80,000 YearlyIndustry: Manufacturing / Fabrication / Welding / ProductionEmployment Term: Full Time / PermanentShift: Afternoon Rolesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production process including the setup and operation of equipment, to meet project requirement and deadlines
  • Collaborate with the team to schedule and prioritize welding tasks, optimizing workflow and resource utilization
  • Train, mentor and evaluate the staff, providing feedback and addressing performance issues as needed
  • Monitor and enforce strict compliance with welding procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols to ensure a secure and efficient work environment
  • Maintain accurate records of production metrics and providing regular reports to management
  • Other related duties as assigned
Qualificationsamp; Experience:
  • Post Secondary education in a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in a welding/fabrication environment
  • Previous experience in automotive industry a definite asset
  • In-depth knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and equipment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to creating a safe working environment
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
