Job Description

Position: Production Supervisor - WeldingLocation: Oakville, ONSalary: $70,000 - $80,000 YearlyIndustry: Manufacturing / Fabrication / Welding / Production/ CWBEmployment Term: Full Time / PermanentShift: Afternoon ShiftRolesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production process including the setup and operation of equipment, to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the team to schedule and prioritize welding tasks, optimizing workflow and resource utilization.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate the staff, providing feedback and addressing performance issues as needed.
  • Monitor and enforce strict compliance with welding procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols to ensure a secure and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of production metrics and provide regular reports to management.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Qualificationsamp; Experience:
  • Post Secondary education in a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in a welding/fabrication environment.
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry a definite asset.
  • CWB Certification required.
  • In-depth knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and equipment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to creating a safe working environment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
