POSITION: SAP TM Application Developer (SAP ABAP Developer)PURPOSE OF POSITION:The Application Developer position is responsible for the development and maintenance of SAP Applications according to project requirements and user expectations.Must have: Transportation Management experiencePOSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:Participate in the Development and Support of SAP ModulesProvide information on the detailed technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms.Develop Code in ABAP, ABAP OO, FPM, BOPF, Webdynpro, Workflow, SQL, FIORI, NWGW, HANA ModelingDesign and code application programs using CDSConduct analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing for a large-scale system.Ensure the operating efficiency of existing application systems.Maintain records for the documentation of systems development and revisions.Create technical documentation, code review, and test processes on standard and developed objects in the area of concentration.Participate in the development and maintenance of custom-built functionality and interfaces for SAP Applications and work with developers in this area.Participate in daily production checks and operations processes required to ensure any incidents are avoided or detected in time on SAP applications.Lead troubleshooting of incidents or defects that arise in SAP applications and ensure a timely resolution. Ensure that all stakeholders are updated on progress as well.POSITION REQUIREMENTSMinimum 2-3 of years SAP implementation experience - ideally 2 full project lifecycles with TM, EM or SD, with a focus on logisticsKnowledgeable in new technical areas like BOPF, FPM,Fiori/SAPUI5, ABAP OO, BRF+, , Webdynpro and Adobe Forms.Strong familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies, including ASAP, and AgileSAP Training in Custom Development and a SAP Certification is considered an asset;Experience in requirements analysis and design of technical solutions ranging in scope and size.Strong Analytical and contextualization skills.Strong troubleshooting skills to debug any defects and find root cause of problems.Ability to communicate complex technical information and impacts in business and functional terms.Competent at creating development effort and cost estimates using inputs from Functional team and then managing the RICEFWDevelopment Standards for SAP Custom Code to be used in design and development.Knowledgeable in new technical areas like ABAP OO, BRF+, BOPF, FPM, Webdynpro and Adobe Forms.Ability to mentor new developers and bring the team together to share their knowledge and experience.Team player, skilled in working in a highly collaborative manner.Background Investigation: The successful candidate will need to complete the following clearances successfully:
