Job Description

The Accounting Lead is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring the integrity of financial data, supervising the accounting team, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes. This role requires strong leadership, technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, guide, and mentor the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and company policies.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and payroll accounting.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations to external auditors.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper flow of financial information.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
  • Minimum [5+] years of progressive accounting experience, with at least [2+] years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving
