Global Audit Management Shared Services (GAMSS) is a CGI Corporate Internal Audit strategic initiative.GAMSS manages client’s audit requests from beginning to end, and provides advice on audit requirements and managementThe Audit Specialist responds to audit requests while assuring compliance with various CGI’s contractual and operational obligations. The Audit Specialist leads and executes audit assignments with the support of a well-established GAMSS team.   • Validates the scope of client audit requests with CGI Strategic Business Units (SBU) / Business Units (BU) for new and recurring audits
  • Manages all assigned client audits from planning to report delivery
  • Analyzes client controls and completes control mapping activities when required
  • Evaluates efforts needed to complete each assigned audit project
  • Assists the Logistics Coordinator in preparing a Client Control Package (CCP)
  • Schedules and attends audit kick-off meetings, audit interviews and organizational meetings
  • Validates the required evidence with audited groups
  • Coordinates and manages interviews between external auditors and auditees
  • Performs Quality Assurance on evidence provided by audited groups
  • Approves and releases evidence to external auditors
  • Analyzes and manages requests and issues raised by external auditors
  • Prepares CGI’s formal audit response (CGI Comments) and obtains approval from implicated teams
  • Assists the SBU/BU in the development of management action plans
  • Validates evidence to confirm the completion of remediation activities and reports progress to the GAMSS management
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
  • University diploma (Bachelor degree) or higher
  • CISA Certification (required); CISSP Certification (an asset)
  • A minimum of 5 years applicable experience in Information Technology security or;
  • A minimum of 5 years applicable experience in Information Technology auditing and an aspiration to acquire experience in Information Technology security
  • Has executed or participated in audits (SOC1 (CSAE3416, ISAE3402, SSAE18); SOC2; internal audits, ad hoc audits, etc.) - essential
  • Knowledge of, C-198, MI-52-109, COBIT governance framework, Sarbanes-Oxley, ISO 27001, 27002, ITIL, PCI-DSS, SDLC - essential
  • Good knowledge of the major operating systems (Ex : Windows, Unix, z/OS, AS/400 including virtual and cloud) - important
  • Work experience in “project mode” - important
  • Master the MS Office suite
  • Excellent knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)
