Bilingual Inside Sales Representative, Equipment Sales Company informationHobart is the leading supplier of equipment, systems and service in the food industry. Hobart offers the broadest line of equipment including cooking, food preparation, refrigeration, bakery systems, warewashing and waste systems, as well as weighing, wrapping and labeling systems. The company employs more than 200 people. Included in this number are over 100 service technicians providing nationwide service, effectively making Hobart Canada has the largest service organization in the food equipment industry.Job DescriptionReporting to the Sales Development Manager, the Bilingual (FR/ EN) Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling and the solicitation of new equipment sales to both new and existing end users in the food service and non-food service segments. You have a proven record of sales success, strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices and techniques, must enjoy selling on the phone and working in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated with high energy and engaging level of enthusiasm and have a high level of integrity and work ethic. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (word, power point, excel).Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing the extracted customer lead data, through telephone sales, contact, promote and sell the food equipment to end users in Canada
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss payment terms
  • Utilizing the equipment data information create and develop customer profiles and contacts to be utilized for further customer contact
  • Help maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects
  • Follow-up with existing customers via telephone and e-mail
  • Prepare customer quotations leading to the sale of food equipment
  • Provide signed documents to the Service Agreement Administrator for invoicing of the product
  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process
  • Proactively calling existing clients to develop new opportunities
  • Follow up on Technician leads by contacting end user and qualifying the leads submitted through service
  • Close lead or send qualified lead to the appropriate Territory Sales Representative for closing
Requirements:
  • Fluent in both French and English
  • College diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 to 5 years of direct work experience in a sales or telesales capacity
  • Sales experience in the food service industry or equipment sales industry preferred
