Job Description -Load, unload and transport construction materials-Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades-Mix, pour and spread materials-Assist heavy equipment operators-Pave and rake asphalt-Assist in concrete constructions and demolition-Clean and pile salvaged materials-Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites-Take direction from supervisors to perform various labour tasks (i.e. perform setup and cleanup, jackhammering, pressure washing, pouring concrete)-Work with minimal supervisionRequirements -Education: Not required. -Experience: Between 1-3 years of construction-related experience. On-the-job training will be provided. Tools experience is an asset,-Drivers license: All workers must have a valid driver #39;s license.-Work conditions and physical capabilities:, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling-Personal Suitability: Initiative, Accurate, Judgment, Efficient interpersonal skills, Team player, Organized- Work site environment: Outdoors, At heights, night work.Working outdoors in various weather conditions and on diverse terrain. Occasional night shifts and exposure to concrete dust (specialized PPE provided).- Weight Handling: Frequent physical exertion, including lifting weights of 50 lbs or more. - Language: Intermediate of English is required. Understand and take instructions with the team.- Tools/ Machinery- uniforms: will be provided by the employer. Worker must have suitable clothing for winter and hot conditions. The candidate must bring their own Steel-Toe Boots.Benefits Benefits: Transportation to and from work sites provided by employer, and motel accommodation is provided by the employer when the workers have to work in different locations. Learning/training paid by employer. Accommodation provided by the employer when the workers are outside Kamploops.
