Job Description

Overview:KUBRAs accomplished Business Development team is seeking an experienced Corporate Strategy Analyst to shape our long and short-term strategy and develop measures that realize our business objectives. As the Corporate Strategy Analyst, you will also research and analyze industry and competitive trends to identify emerging market opportunities, strategic areas of interest, and platform enhancement opportunities. Additionally, you will develop and execute on proposed strategies to ensure KUBRA is properly positioned within verticals and recommend and execute on product partnership strategies to attain objectives.This position can be 100% remote or hybrid if you are in the GTA.KUBRAs hiring efforts will continue during the COVID-19 pandemic. Any face-to-face stages of our interview process will be virtual via video conference.What you get to do every day:

  • Assist in developing and executing on short to long term (3 months to 3 years) strategies in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Provides support to Director Strategy & Transformation for execution of strategic plans.
  • Develop and execute on proposed strategies to ensure KUBRA is properly positioned within verticals and recommend and execute on product partnership strategies to attain objectives.
  • Develop short to long-term (3 months -3 years) plans for i) new vertical entries with high level requirements to support markets; ii) new business development opportunities; iii) new product partnerships to enhance platform capabilities (analyze, engage, and hunt potential new product partnerships to expand KUBRA capabilities)

  • Strong business development, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead cross-departmental collaboration on strategic initiatives.
  • Experience working with senior executives and/or third-party executives.
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and project management skills, using relevant information to make timely and critical decisions.
  • Strong understanding of Fintech preferably in billing and payments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment and learn quickly.
  • Expectation of participating and embracing daily review meetings, metrics, clear documentation of calls/follow up.
  • High level of comfort in taking initiative and willingness to navigate new situations.
  • Able to travel up to 10% of the time.
What skills do you need:
  • 3-5 years of relevant consulting or strategy development and execution
  • 3-5 years of strategic product partnership alliance development
  • Strong track record of supporting the build of short- and long-term strategies, plans and execution of strategic objectives.
  • Relevant experience in Fintech sector or billing/payments
