Job Description

One of our international clients is currently seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Technicians to join their team. This role involves providing superior support both in the field and on-site, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and with the highest level of integrity. Experience with Caterpillar (CAT) equipment is required for this position.Key Responsibilities:

  • Fieldamp; On-Site Support: Deliver expert service and repairs for heavy equipment, maintaining high standards of quality and timely completion.
  • Diagnostics: Utilize Caterpillar testing equipment to accurately diagnose mechanical issues.
  • Repair Work: Perform repairs and maintenance on Caterpillar equipment in line with established time standards.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed and accurate service and repair reports promptly.
  • Customer Relations: Foster strong relationships with customers through regular on-site visits and clear communication.
Experience, and Education Required:
  • Relevant diploma and/or equivalent technical experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the repair and service of heavy equipment, both in the shop and in the field.
  • Basic knowledge of cutting, welding, and fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret prints, drawings, and technical bulletins.
  • Strong analytical skills with a sound understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete repairs and service within established time guidelines in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Self-directed team player with strong initiative, business acumen, and integrity.
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with CAT systems (ET and SIS preferred).
