Job Description

Remote HRIS Analyst (Must reside in East Coast Canada)Job SummaryAs an HRIS Analyst for our client in Canada, you will be responsible for supporting the continuous improvement and post-production activities of Workday, specifically focusing on Core HCM, Workday Payroll, Recruiting, Talentamp; Performance, OR Absence Management. You will collaborate with key business partners, acting as a technical point of contact between Management, HR, Finance, and IT. Your role will involve configuring, reporting, and leveraging your 1-3 years of experience with Workday.ResponsibilitiesConfiguration and Workflow Optimization:Partner with HR and other stakeholders to design and optimize workflows.Ensure the successful implementation of recommended enhancements and new features by following project management stages.Conduct configuration and testing activities related to workflow enhancements.Support in HCM and Payroll Functional Areas:Provide support in Workday HCM areas such as Job Profile, Job Family, Job Group, Roles, Custom Organization Types, Positions, and Locations.Resolve issues and support changes in Payroll functional area, including Pay Components, Retroactive Processing, and ROE.Identify cross-dependencies between Payroll and other HRMS areas, addressing potential risks.Testing and Business Process Changes:Test, validate, and implement Business Process changes in Workday.Develop accurate and comprehensive test plans.Recommend improvements to the HRMS system and prioritize enhancement requests.Qualifications1-3 years of hands-on experience with cloud-based HCM systems.Comprehensive understanding of Workday for Core HCM, Recruiting, Timekeeping/Absence Management, Payroll, and Benefits Administration.Proficiency in creating sophisticated queries and composite reporting.Workday Expertise:Experience with Workday Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).Workday certifications or training in HCM, Advanced Compensation, Absence, or Integrations.Educational Background:Bachelor #39;s degree or equivalent experience in a technical or related field.Technical Skills:Proficiency in HTML.Familiarity with Workday Integrations, including Workday Studio and data transformation.Benefits and PerksRegular business hours, Monday to Friday.A comprehensive benefits package with premiums fully paid for by the company.Career development and training opportunities.Life insurance, disability coverage, and wellness programs.Retirement savings programs, including RRSP and DC pension with employer contributions.Paid vacation, sick time, and a day off on your birthday.Bonus programs based on annual performance and profit sharing.Employee discounts on plumbing and HVAC/R products from top brands.Education reimbursement.Employee referral program.Safety shoe reimbursement.
