In this role, you will report into the Director, Corporate Quality and spearhead our strategies for improving, consolidating, and expanding our Quality Systems across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve the best outcomes for our consumers by providing direction, technical leadership and support towards quality systems and procedures.   • Provide guidance and governance to the Quality Systems across the sites within Canada and global markets
  • Lead and direct the above site quality teams to support Quality Systems
  • Ensure implementation, effectiveness, and integrity of a global quality system that is compliant with all standards and regulations (i.e. Health Canada, EU GMPs, CUMCS, etc.)
  • Support implementation and maintenance of the quality strategy, budget and plans for quality improvement and related organizational learning to define, evaluate, and strengthen KPIs
  • Lead a team to establish and maintain robust Quality System programs such as Validation, Quality Management Reviews, eQMS, Quality Risk Management and more
  • Manage the Corporate Quality Training program to ensure all relevant stakeholders are made aware of new or changed procedures and processes are performed accurately
  • Evaluate standards and regulations against corporate and local policies to improve processes and drive best practices for managing a diverse set of products and procedures globally
  • Oversee metric reporting for KPIs and use data to align systems with current industry trends, standards, and expectations
  • Foster a cohesive environment in the Quality division by partnering with other areas and providing leadership, technical direction and coaching to direct and indirect reports
As an experienced professional you will have…
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field (we would also welcome an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Operational environment, ideally in the pharmaceutical or consumer-packaged goods industry (these credentials appear to match the candidate profile we are looking for but we’re ready to be convinced otherwise)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role with advanced Microsoft Office skills
