The RoleWe are currently searching for a Manager, Strategy reporting to the Vice President of Retail. This is a Full-Time Permanent opportunity.Location: our staff based out of corporate office have not returned to the site at this time, however the intention is to continue having staff work remotely at their home office with partial visits into the office in near future indefinitely. Join us to continue to create a fun and genuine work culture that really feels like your second family!What You’ll Be DoingThis role works on corporate and commercial strategy projects, supports process improvements and governance mechanisms, and aids in preparation and improvement of Board and Committee submissions. The Strategy Manager will handle projects from end-to-end as well as facilitate workshops to strengthen TBS decision-making.There are 3 key elements to the role - strategic planning, strategy development and project management. This role:Supports development and execution of the corporate & commercial strategy – providing thought leadership, problem solving and action plans and assisting with change managementLeads key strategic priorities and projects by identifying hypotheses and conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis to drive recommendationsWorks closely with the various teams and leaders to design, develop and implement process improvements & governance mechanisms that will simplify operations and strengthen collaboration across the enterpriseIdentifies current and future business trends and changes to the competitive environment, and analyzes the impact of these to the businessDevelops and nurtures collaborative relationships with internal stakeholdersSupports synthesis of materials (e.g., for presentation to the Leadership team and the Board)This role does not have any direct reportsPerform other related duties and projects as assignedWho You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceUndergraduate degree in a discipline that teaches quantitative analysis and critical thinking (e.g., business, accounting, marketing, computer science, engineering, law, mathematics or related). MBA preferredMinimum 5 to 7 years of experience at a consulting firm, and/or in an internal strategy group on project work in a commercial setting.
