  • Responsible for all technical aspects of the orchestration and automation playbooks including initial creation, adjustments and
optimization of playbooks
  • Member will work with other Global Security Shared Services (GSSS) and Global Security Operations Center (GSOC)
personnel providing the advanced threat knowledge and directions which are implemented by the automation specialist
  • Responsible for maintaining the playbook life cycle in the various environments (development, testing, production) using
version control, continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD)Security Orchestration, Automation & Response Platform
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for the evolution of the Security Automation, Orchestration & Response
(SOAR) Platform
  • Perform reviews of the platform’s new features and provides feedback on innovation that could be integrated
  • Work with the service providers delivering the platform hosting, infrastructure platform support and orchestration component
configuration to ensure that production and deployment instances are synchronizedRequired qualifications to be successful in this roleEXPERIENCE
  • Experience with Security Orchestration, Automation & Response (SOAR) platforms such as Palo Alto Cortex (Demisto), Fortinet FortiSOAR, Splunk Phantom or other SOAR equivalents platforms
  • Experience with security operations (security analyst, security application engineer, security application support, security content engineer)
  • Knowledge of delivering security monitoring detection & response within a global organization
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Knowledge of security operations and secure application development
  • Experience with the Python programming language
  • Experience interacting with web APIs such as REST, GraphQL or SOAP
  • Experience with modern software development workflows using tools such as Git, Gitlab, GitHub, Jira, or other equivalents
  • Experience with IT configuration management software such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or other equivalents
  • Understanding of one or all mainstream operating systems (Windows, Linux or Unix)
  • Ability to work in a remote environment
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Communication and interaction skills
  • Autonomous and self-motivated
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
  • The ideal candidate should have (2+ years) in at least two of the following areas:
o Python Developmento DevOps Cultureo Security Automation Platform
  • Undergraduate or masters’ degree in one of the following areas (or equivalent experience): Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering
  • Fluent in English
  • Relevant certifications are an asset
