Job Description

Position: Senior Mortgage Underwriteramp; Account ManagerCompany: Streetwise Mortgages, a multiple-award winning mortgage brokerage and leader in real estate investment financing.Role: Responsible for managing client relationships, providing mortgage advice, mentoring support staff, and underwriting deals from pre-qualification through closing. Key responsibilities include:

  • Client relationship management: Nurture new and existing client relationships as they grow their portfolios; provide excellent service
  • Advisory: Assess client goals and finances; determine financing options; conduct planning sessions to map out optimal financing strategies
  • Mentoring: Manage and coach a Junior Underwriteramp; Fulfillment Officer who assists with onboarding, documents, system setup, etc.
  • Underwriting: Structure strategic financing deals to help clients scale their portfolios; evaluate applications; verify information accuracy; review appraisals; negotiate financing terms; ensure accurate system data entry; resolve issues to maintain high satisfaction
Key Results: Close 10+ deals per month; maintain high client satisfaction; handle most client interactions independently; utilize company tools for productivity and experience; contribute knowledge to internal databaseRequirements: 3+ years experience as licensed mortgage broker; 5-7 years underwriting residential deals; proficiency with industry software systems; experience with income property and self-employed guidelines across various lenders; exceptional communication abilities; organized and detailed-oriented; problem-solving skills.Offerings: Attractive compensation including base salary starting from $75k and monthly closed volume splits; performance bonuses; health/dental benefits; paid time off; broker fee splits on personal deals; professional development funding; flexible remote work.Detailed post HERE: https://ca.indeed.com/job/senior-mortgage-underwriter-advisor-0c853595e0832973
