Parkland County has an opportunity for a permanent, full-time Manager, Technology Operationsamp; Cybersecurity position in the Technologyamp; Digital Services (TDS) department.Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Manager, Technology Operations and Cybersecurity plans and manages the installation, configuration, implementation, operationalization, connectivity, access control, maintenance, support, and decommissioning activities to ensure seamless and good practice lifecycle management of back-office services. The Manager is also responsible for planning, controlling, monitoring, reporting, tuning, and recoverability functions for all infrastructure and services serving County information technology requirements. This position grows the Cybersecurity program for the County to ensure all data and systems are secure, accessible, operable, and appropriately controlled. The Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring, reporting, and tuning security systems and practices, including training, assessing (e.g. phishing and vulnerability), developing response protocols, and ensuring comprehensive policy and controls are available and well-purposed. This position performs ongoing evaluations of how Technology Operations and Cybersecurity is scoped in relation to County needs, developing associated adjustments to ensure a crucial focus on a made-in-Parkland County approach. The Manager ensures effective human and material resource management and value realization from all opportunities for TOC through collaboration with TDS staff, partners, and suppliers, other jurisdictions, County business units, and executive decision-makers.The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:
