Now Hiring: Project Engineer II (Competition #24-70) Parkland County has an opportunity for a permanent, full-time Project Engineer II position in the Engineering Services department. Reporting to the Manager, Capital Construction, the Project Engineer II is responsible for assisting in project management and coordinating capital and special projects in the areas of transportation, bridges, water and wastewater utilities and storm water. The position conducts technical research and produces technical reports while offering design support. This position must have expertise and a knowledge base in a wide range of Engineering, Public Works and Road Maintenanceamp; Drainage activities such as project administration, contract preparation and management, and budget and asset management. The Project Engineer II may also assist with establishing and maintaining aspects of the corporate wide asset inventory of all County assets. The position may also be required to carry out, coordinate, and or support various engineering program activities such as off-site levy infrastructure cost analysis, regulatory road signage reviews, traffic count coordination, in-service road safety reviews and other activities as assigned.
