Job Description

Licensed group childcare centre is currently looking to add a full time Early Childhood Educator to our team! This is a Monday to Friday position our 3-5 program.Responsibilities :

  • Provide outstanding care and supervision of children ages 30 months to 5 years.
  • Collaborate, develop and execute age appropriate programming to foster children’s cognitive, physical, emotional and social development.
  • Ability to use age appropriate techniques/strategies in guiding behaviour.
  • Assess abilities and observe children for signs of potential developmental or behaviour challenges.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents/guardian and community services
  • Effectively communicate with parents/guardians regarding a child’s day
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a collaborative approach but also the ability to work independently
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment that protects the health and well-being of children
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
  • Early Childhood Educator License to Practice is required
  • Valid First Aid Certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Clean Criminal Record Check
  • References
