Position: Seasonal LabourerFacility: Golden Eagle Golf Club located in Pitt Meadows, BC.Job Overview and Requirements: · Introductory position for those with no experience· Both full and part-time positions available (20-40 hours per week)· Early start times starting at 5:00 am May through August· Must have a learner’s license to operate golf carts and smaller utility vehicles· Will be required to work on a shift basis, including weekends and holidays· Reports to the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent· Ensures the esthetic appearance of the Golf Course property· Primarily outside work, requiring occasional heavy liftingJob Description · Use of small equipment including utility vehicles, grass trimmers, blowers, shovels and rakes· Maintenance of bunkers including raking, grass trimming and weed removal· Grass trimming around trees, pond banks and fixtures· Maintenance of cart paths/bridges· Blowing off tees, greens and fairways· Daily setup of the golf course including pin placement and tee setup· Introduction to ride-on mowers for those with a good work ethicCompensation:· Starting wage of $16.50 - $18.00 per hour based on relevant work experience· Golfing privileges for staff and their guests· Discounts on merchandise and foodJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePart-time hours: 20-40 per weekSalary: $16.50-$18.00 per hourFlexible Language Requirement:
