Now hiring Golf Services (Backshop) Attendants for the 2023 golf season.Located in the picturesque Muskoka, Ontario, Öviinbyrd provides a backdrop beyond comparison. The community and culture of the team at Öviinbyrd is defined by its shared successes, a unique environment that is proudly unparallel in Muskoka and beyond.SummaryThe role of a Golf Services Attendant is to provide the members and guests of Oviinbyrd Golf Club with “best in class” service in an organized and professional manner. You will be part of a team that works alongside the Professional Staff and Management to provide a memorable golf experience in a welcoming atmosphere. You will report to the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional.Core Competencies

Job Duties

• Provide the highest level of customer service on an on-going basis in a professional and friendly manner.
• Lead by example and be a team player at all times.
• Communicate with colleagues, members and guests.
• Welcome members and guests and assist with golf bags from their car or boat.
• Maintain and restock practice facilities on a regular basis.
• Maintain and service the power cart and push cart fleets.
• Maintain an organized bag storage facility.
• Provide a shoe cleaning service to the members and their guests, including polishing.
• Provide a shuttle service to the members and guests to the club docks or other destinations as requested.
• Organizing and staging carts for tournaments and club events.
• Assist in the day to day operation of the Backshop.
• Assist with general cleanliness and maintenance of the Backshop, golf course and surrounding buildings.
• Serve the needs of the members and guests in accordance with the operational and health & safety policies and procedures outlined in the Oviinbyrd Golf Club Employee Handbook, Policies and Procedures booklet and your detailed job description.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Able to operate in a fast pace environment.
• Strong understanding of high-end customer service.
• Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential.
• Resourcefulness and flexibility.
• Strong verbal skills to communicate with colleagues, members and guests.
• Ability to work independently or cohesively with a team.
• Minimum of a G2 Drivers License.
