Job Description

Fire Protection Technician Lower Mainland, BC | Full-time | Competitive salary + benefitsWere working with a well-established company in the fire and life safety industry thats looking to grow their team with an experienced Fire Protection Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants long-term stability, room for advancement, and a supportive environment that genuinely values people. What Youll Be Doing:

  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual fire inspections in accordance with BC Fire Code, CAN/ULC, NFPA, and CSA requirements
  • Troubleshoot and repair various life safety systems (fire alarms, extinguishers, sprinklers, etc.)
  • Complete accurate digital inspection and deficiency reports
  • Be part of a shared after-hours emergency on-call rotation
  • Maintain open communication with internal teams and customers about job status and project timelines
  • Stay current with product updates and code/regulatory changes
  • Provide professional, next-level customer service
  • Embrace and uphold workplace safety protocols and company values
Your Background:
  • ASTTBC RFPT or CFAA certification (or working towards it) is a major asset
  • Solid electrical, electronics, or mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Strong understanding of fire and life safety systems
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • BC Drivers License with clean driving record
  • Friendly, respectful, and solutions-focused with a passion for the industry
