Job Description

Caregiver/HCA #39;s that can driveJust Like Family Home Care is looking for new staff members that want to be part of an amazing team of people who genuinely care about the clients they work with. Work one to one making a difference in your local community. If you can drive, we need you to take clients to appointments or errands.We need staff members that are flexible and eager to work! Hard workers get lots of hours and can move up in seniorityWeek Day, evenings, and weekends on call. Can train the right candidates if flexible with their schedule and willing to learn! Willing to train motivated hard-working individuals.Caregiver Duties vary with each client but can include:

  • Companionship
  • Meal prep/ cooking
  • Light housekeeping/ laundry
  • Personal care/toileting
  • Medication supervision
  • Driving to errands
Requirements:
  • Must be able to use a smartphone for clocking in and out of shifts and completing daily visit notes for their clients.
  • Must pass a criminal record check.
  • Have expirence using Lifts such as a Hoyer/Sit to Stand/Overhead/Ceiling Lift.
  • Driver #39;s licenses and reliable vehicle/ reliable mode of getting to work.
Job Type: Part-time.Pay: $22-$25.00 per hour.Expected hours: 2 - 40 per week.Licence/Certification:
  • Class 5 Licence (required).

Staff can make a real difference in their local community caring for individuals making sure they get the right type and amount of care. We customize the care each client receives and update their care plans as needs change. Having consistent caregivers working weekly with their specific clients is how we ensure there is rapport and that consistent care is in place.
