Job Description

Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.The successful candidate will manage Automation and Electrification projects in the Mining Industry, as well as developing and maintaining partnership relations with our clients and suppliers.Your responsibilities

  • Working within cross functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered timely, on budget and meeting quality criteria. -
  • Plan projects / Establish schedules / Modify when required
  • Ensure Customer satisfaction and responsiveness to customers.
  • Assess/Manage and report project risks and opportunities
  • Manage/lead project team to ensure project success and team spirit.
  • Manage change requests, prepare quotes/implement changes, with support from technical and other staff as required.
Your background
  • Electrical or mechanical engineering university degree or technologist diploma with a minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant project experience.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of French is a strong asset.
  • Strong leadership/interpersonal skills/Conflict resolution/Negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage/work with virtual (cross border/culture) teams.
  • Understanding project financesamp; contracts.
  • Experience in managing projects with installation or construction scope.
  • Experience in the mining industry would be an asset.
  • PMP Certification would be an asset.
  • Available to travel 10-20% for business trips of short durations.
