Job Description

  • Working within cross functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered timely, on budget and meeting quality criteria. -
  • Plan projects / Establish schedules / Modify when required
  • Ensure Customer satisfaction and responsiveness to customers.
  • Assess/Manage and report project risks and opportunities
  • Manage/lead project team to ensure project success and team spirit.
  • Manage change requests, prepare quotes/implement changes, with support from technical and other staff as required.
Your background
  • Electrical or mechanical engineering university degree or technologist diploma with a minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant project experience.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of French is a strong asset.
  • Strong leadership/interpersonal skills/Conflict resolution/Negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage/work with virtual (cross border/culture) teams.
  • Understanding project financesamp; contracts.
  • Experience in managing projects with installation or construction scope.
  • Experience in the mining industry would be an asset.
  • PMP Certification would be an asset.
  • Available to travel 10-20% for business trips of short durations.
