Job Description

Georgian Bay Septic and Barging is a locally owned and operated construction firm specializing in septic tank pumping, barging, shoring, excavation, demolition, and other contracting services. We are looking for a strong individual to join our team.https://georgianbaysepticandbarging.ca/Responsibilities

  • Ability to operate various hand tools such as drills, hammer, level etc.
  • Load and unload materials from barge and boat.
  • Responsible for setup and cleanup of job sites.
  • Provides manual labour and assistance to lead hand.
  • Assists with numerous projects i.e. Septic installs, material deliveries, landscaping etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Work Experience
  • Relevant work experience in the construction industry is considered an asset.
  • Comfortable working at heights and tight spaces, and in different environments (Indoor/outdoor, Hot/cold).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge and experience of various equipment and machinery.
  • Boating experience considered an asset.
  • Must be able to swim and be comfortable on a boat/barge.
  • Ability to follow instructions with a detail oriented mind.
  • Must be physically fit with the ability to lift 100lbs with assistance
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $20.00-$30.00 per hourSchedule:
  • Monday to Friday

  • Port Severn, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
  • construction: 1 year (preferred)
