Job Description

Rawley Resort, Spa & Marina is excited to have an opening in their dynamic culinary team working under our certified Master Chef with Michelin Star experience, Chef Thomas Krieger.We are looking for a passionate professional culinary team member. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. We are looking for cooks to prepare meals according to menu. Someone that is able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals, and apt to moving around the kitchen and multi-tasking; and experienced in various ingredients and cooking techniques.Our goal is to create an even more dynamic passionate team to enhance our reputation, guest stratification and the expansion of our clientele.Key responsibilities are (not limited to):

  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements:
  • Proven cooking experience, which may include experience as a Long-term Care Cook, Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, Apprentice or Prep Cook
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices
Wage will be negotiated upon experience.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, SeasonalSalary: From $17.00 per hourAdditional pay:
