Job Description

  • Feed Sales & Logistics Associate
Atlantic Poultry Incorporated is seeking a motivated individual to join the sales and corporate development team at API’s head office to coordinate the ordering, transport, sale/invoicing, and inventory management of API feed products.The Feed Sales and Logistics Associate will report to the Director Sales & Business Development and will provide a high level of customer service, maintain shipment records in digital databases and work with API’s external transportation partner to ensure that shipments are delivered according to schedule.Responsibilities
  • Professionally investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues in a time sensitive manner.
  • Provide customer support via telephone and address client inquiries regarding status of orders, payment, refunds, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Director Sales & Corporate Development to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
  • Work closely with the Customer Relations Manager to manage and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Be available for the on-call schedule during evenings and weekends as required.
Requirements
  • University or college degree in Agriculture or Animal Sciences is preferred, a combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Minimum 1 year of direct work experience in sales or tele sales
  • Strong problem identification and solving skills
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • self-motivated
  • Able to travel and attend sales events or exhibits as needed
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • high level of integrity and work ethic
