Job Description

Employment OpportunityDate: May 4, 2021Bulletin No. 20-21 143Position: Kindergarten Teacher Assignment: 0.5 term (available until June 30, 2022)School: Richer SchoolClosing date: Thursday, May 13, 2021Start Date: September 2021The following skills and experience are required:

  • Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
  • The ability to teach Basic French is a requirement for this position
  • Must have excellent organizational and classroom management skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with Early Years students and parents
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of the Kindergarten curriculum
  • Familiarity with the Manitoba document titled ‘A Time for Learning a Time for Joy’
  • Previous experience providing appropriate programming for all learning styles
  • Previous experience working in an environment with EAL students and students with Special Needs
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of personal computers and related software applications
