Employment OpportunityDate: April 22, 2022Bulletin No. 21-22 142Position: PrincipalshipAssignment: 1.0 PermanentSchool: Richer SchoolClosing date: Friday, April 29, 2022Start Date: September 2022The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Education Degree as a minimum requirement
  • A Masters or Post Baccalaureate Degree in Education with a focus on Educational Administration and
Leadership is preferable
  • Preference will be given to those who have or are in the process of acquiring their School Administrator’s
Certificate – Level 1 or 2
  • Previous administrative experience would be considered an asset
  • Exemplary record as a classroom teacher working in an Early, Middle Years classroom and special
needs environment
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of instructional practices
  • Previous experience working in an environment with EAL students and students with Special Needs
  • Thorough knowledge of the Early Years and Middle Years curriculum
  • Demonstrate a leadership style characterized by collaborative decision-making and high visibility in the
school with students, teachers, parents and the community
  • Previous involvement/participation in leadership programs/activities and committee work groups
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills with staff, students, parents and
community
  • The ability to promote a positive image of school to the community at large
